In the village of l'Herbe, unexpected and unusual, the Chapel of the Algerian Villa stands before you with its bright colors and Moorish style. In Arcachon, theSainte-Cécile Observatory built in 1863 by Paul Régnauld assisted by a certain Gustave Eiffel offers a vertiginous ascent, rich in sensations with a spiral staircase that moves under your feet.

The pearl of the month

From July 1940 to August 1944, the German army settled on the Arcachon Bay. During this occupation, they fortified the beaches of the coast with "the Atlantic Wall" . To discover its history,GRAMASA Association organizes visits and restores these constructions which constitute a unique heritage and a testimony to the “culture of remembrance”.
