Thousands of wild birds!
Some years, 300,000 birds can transit through the Teich Bird Reserve on the Arcachon Bay.
Marshes, reed beds, meadows, and lagoons, that's what awaits you during your bucolic escapade in the heart of the Ornithological Reserve.
Our rendezvous with nature will take place on foot along one of the two proposed trails (2.5km or 6km). We will hide in the observatories to spy on the free-flying birds. Before starting your visit, remember to grab a pair of binoculars at the reception. The 6km trail allows you to go around the Reserve in 3-4 hours, and the shorter route is an ideal shortcut for children.
Prices : 9.20€/adult and 7€/child from 5 to 14 years old. Dogs and bicycles are not allowed
Observe the birds
Did you know that the Reserve welcomes 260 different bird species throughout the year? And you will have the chance to admire them up close from the observatories and elevated viewpoints along the trail. In addition to being a wintering site for migrants from northern and eastern Europe, it is also an ideal site for nesting. Gray Heron, Black-backed Gull, White Stork, Black-winged Stilt, Lesser Plover and many other species coexist in the same place!

Hit the trails of the Ornithological Reserve
In July and August, come and explore the Ornithological Reserve of Le Teich in the morning or at dusk with binoculars provided for the occasion: 4 to 5 guided tours during the week, with a Nature guide! (Reservation required at +33 (0)5 24 73 37 33)
