Jean, a «local storyteller» with a lilting accent, will guide you along the banks of the Leyre. Join him in his search for a fountain with miraculous waters.
The banks of the River Leyre are an exceptional natural environment, with a lush forest and rich flora.It used to be a favourite spot for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela.
Jean knows it all. He'll tell you stories of the past and the traditions of the south-west.It's an informative walk with a dose of humour.Following in the footsteps of the Pilgrim's Way to Santiago de Compostela, you'll discover the Fontaine Saint-Jean, an important stopping-off point for pilgrims on their way to Compostela.
