Rumour has it that there is an eighth port in the commune of Gujan-Mestras, well hidden from view. There is also said to be a whole chapter of history that has been completely forgotten and little known.

This tour, which aims to be a little out of the ordinary, will take us in search of this mysterious harbour, as well as an orphanage, a stud farm and a castle with a rather grand name.

We’ll finish with an even better-hidden secret – so well hidden that hundreds of people walk right past it without realising what lies beneath.
