Florian Zeller’s cult play, which won an Oscar for its film adaptation, returns to the stage starring Pierre Arditi. According to *The Guardian*, it is «the most acclaimed play of the decade», and according to the *Evening Standard*, one of the «best plays of the 21st century». André is no longer a young man. His daughter Anne suggests he come and live with her and her husband so they can look after him. But this whimsical and colourful father has no intention of giving up his independence. Caught between tenderness and bewilderment, the situation becomes increasingly complicated. Accepting that one day you might become your own children’s child is never an easy thing.
