Description
With *La Prodigieuse Histoire de l’Opéra-Comique*, Léo Cohen-Paperman and Emilien Diard-Detoeuf invite the audience on a theatrical and musical journey to the very heart of the birth of opéra-comique. Performed by the young troupe of Opéra-Comique trainees, the show blends comedy, arias and vaudeville in a festive spirit, celebrating a form of theatre that is both popular and intimate. Léo Cohen-Paperman champions an ambitious form of theatre. As co-founder of the Nouveau Théâtre Populaire, he champions a craft-based, collective art form, where the quest for the sublime confronts human realities in a free and vibrant style.
