With *Romance sonambulo*, Antonio Najarro offers a fresh take on Spanish dance. Set to an original score by Fernando Egozcue, the piece blends different dance styles in a virtuosic and contemporary choreographic language.
On stage, dancers and musicians share a vibrant energy, where tradition and modernity engage in a dialogue. With its passionate rhythms, elegant movements and sumptuous costumes, «Alento» celebrates the soul of Spanish culture whilst opening up dance to new influences.
Antonio Najarro, a renowned Spanish dancer and choreographer, is celebrated for his creations that blend classical ballet and flamenco, and for his ability to modernise the traditional Spanish repertoire. As the director of his own company, he explores works that combine technical virtuosity with emotional expressiveness.
