The Quinconces in Andernos-les-Bains

Take the coastal path on foot from the oyster port ofAndernos to discover this little natural gem. A wild place where you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Bassin of Arcachon and take a breath of fresh sea air.

A natural corner well known to locals!

Following the path to the north, you cross the Cirès river to reach the Conche de Saint Brice in Arès.

The Salt Meadows of Arès and Lège

Set off on foot on the marked trails of the Réserve Nationale des Prés Salés at low tide.

You can access the Prés Salés in two ways. From the oyster port ofAres or from the "Cabane du Résinier" in Lege-Cap Ferret.

In autumn, the lights play with the vegetation, a real pleasure for the eyes… Like the air of the savannah! Binoculars are highly recommended for wildlife viewing!

For sports enthusiasts, the wild paths of the Prés Salés are also a nice spot for jogging.

Autumn is a perfect season to discover or rediscover the Bassin from Arcachon by bike. The sun is also there! It's the perfect time to stroll along the colorful huts or even admire the comings and goings of the oyster farmers' flats.

All around the Bassin, you have oyster ports and villages : Lège-Cap Ferret, La Teste de Buch, Gujan-Mestras, Biganos, Audenge…
