The Ville d'Automne district jointly corresponds to the Saint-Ferdinand and Aiguillon districts, which include the fishing port and the Marina.
This district experienced great economic activity thanks to the fisheries and shipyards which prospered until the early 1950s.
Today this area remains one of the locals' favorite neighborhoods.
