1. Landing and admiring the panorama from the Dune du Pilat
Climb the Dune du Pilat, is to buy a ticket for one of the most fascinating views in France. On one side, the pine forest, on the other, the ocean. And beneath our feet, millions of m3 of fine sand and 40 centuries of history!
Before going there, consult parking lot attendance in real time. The best way is to get there other than by car, why not by bike or by Baïa bus.

2. Explore the Pereire sandbar
Walk along the pedestrian promenade or cycle paths towards Le Moulleau and you'll come across this little corner of paradise: Pereire, Arcachon's largest beach. A long sandbank forms as the tide goes out. Our feet venture into the little natural pools!

3. Enjoy good little dishes
At our house, we like to eat well! Delicacies there's no shortage of them on Bassin. During the holidays, we take the time to sample a dozen oysters in a oyster shack à la bonne franquette or 100% premises combining land and sea. 4. Embark with an oyster farmer or fisherman for a trip

5. Take a wellness break

6. Take a walk by the ocean
For an invigorating walk in the fresh air, nothing better than the ocean beaches of Lège-Cap Ferret or La Teste de Buch. With the children, don't forget the kite! For the more sporty, it is possible to book a surf lessons.

7. Visit the Bassin Arcachon Zoo
A 4km walk to the sound of roars, cackles and other sounds from all 5 continents. More than 1,000 animals, including rare and endangered species, give you the chance to learn a little more. Open every day from 10am to 7pm from 1 April (ticket office closes 2 hours before the park closes).

8. Play Tèrra Aventura
With family, tribe or friends, go hiking geocaching (treasure hunting) with Tèrra Aventura, a more than captivating universe! Go in search of Zar't, Zarthus and Zisséo, these mysterious characters who know Ares, Andernos, Biganos ,Gujan-Mestras, La Teste de Buch, Le Teich and Mios better than their pocket.

9. Behind the scenes of the Arcachon fish auction
It's 6:30 in the morning. That's the time when the local fishermen return to dry land and pile up their traps with fresh fish! Exclusively open to professionals, it's now possible to discover this surprising world through a guided tour on Mondays and Thursdays (booking required on 05 57 52 97 97). Time to wake up!

10. Get some height: from the lighthouse or the belvedere at Le Teich!
Lighthouse (53 m - 258 steps). You'll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of oyster beds, the Mimbeau inlet, the Dune du Pilat and the ocean. For an outdoor climb, opt for the brand-new, brand-new and brand-new beauty Le Teich lookout ! 20m high, and a 360° view of the Leyre delta, its marshes, its rivers and the variety of birds found in Le Teich!
