27 June: St John’s Day bonfires – Le Teich
The summer season will begin on 27 June with the Feux de la Saint-Jean. Le Port du Teich will host this traditional event, which will kick off with a large communal picnic, followed by a festive and convivial evening hosted by DJ Doozy.
27 June: Exploration the Leyre Bird Reserve and Delta
It is impossible to talk about summer in Le Teich without mentioning its exceptional natural surroundings. On 27 June, a «duet» walk through the heart of the Teich Bird Sanctuary will invite the public to discover the texts written by author Nathalie Bernard during her writing residency, accompanied by a nature guide.
27 June: Lège Festival - Lège-Cap Ferret

3 July: Soirée Barrée - Gujan-Mestras
La Hume beach is hosting the first ever ‘Soirée barrée’ around the Harbour Master’s Office – a brand-new summer event not to be missed!

Fridays 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31 July: Les Lantonnales – Lanton
The Lantonnales are an iconic summer cultural event in the town of Lanton, held every Friday evening throughout the summer.
The event offers a free programme combining classical music, world music, choral singing and artistic discoveries in the city’s heritage venues, notably the Saint-Louis Chapel in Taussat. It showcases regional, national and international artists in a friendly atmosphere that is accessible to all.
The Lantonnales contribute to the tourist programme of Arcachon’s Bassin whilst enhancing the destination’s cultural appeal. They offer both residents and visitors opportunities to come together through music and local heritage.
From June 19 to July 19: Musical Escapades – Traveling Concerts
The Festival celebrates its 17th anniversary this year. For 5 weeks, the greatest international artists will enchant an audience made up of both music lovers and curious spectators, who have come to discover the wonders of classical music with their families on this journey along the River Leyre, and all around Arcachon's Bassin.

Urban art practices are in the spotlight at this unmissable event at the start of the summer season.

From 7 to 10 July: Festival Partir en Livres - Andernos
In 2026, heroes will be paving the way for the imagination as part of the «Partir en livre» festival. From 7 to 10 July, the Andrée Chédid multimedia library becomes a land of adventure, words and shared dreams.
The programme for this 12th edition, organised by the Médiathèque Andrée Chedid, includes meetings, workshops, quizzes, readings aloud or to music, and outdoor games to celebrate literature with the whole family. Opening party on Tuesday 7 July at 4.30pm for children and their families.

11–14 July: Music O Teich
From 11 to 14 July, Le Port du Teich will become the beating heart of the summer with Music O Teich, organised by the Town of Le Teich and the Festivals and Culture Committee.
Over four days, locals and visitors alike will be able to enjoy an eclectic line-up of music free of charge, featuring artists from a wide range of genres. Pop, rock, funk, soul, world music and lively covers will take to the stage one after the other in a unique setting on the banks of the Bassin.
As well as the concerts, Music O Teich is also a real hub of activity, with its craft market, funfair, food stalls and family-friendly atmosphere. The festival will draw to a close on 14 July with the traditional fireworks display launched from the harbour, a much-anticipated spectacle that lights up the sky over Teich.
13 July: Lège Firefighters' Ball - Lège-Cap Ferret
Every 13 July, In Lège, on the Place de la Mairie, come and have fun and dance to the music of yesterday and today. The fire brigade will provide the atmosphere! A toro de fuego will be the highlight of the evening.

The Biganos Festival is a major summer event that celebrates the town’s festive and community spirit. It brings together locals and visitors to enjoy entertainment, concerts, a funfair and social areas.

Situated on the shores of the Arcachon Bay, amongst oyster ports, natural areas and the typical villages of the Gironde coast, the town of Lanton will host a new edition of its traditional Fête de la Mer on 15 August 2026.
A must-attend summer event, this festive and friendly day will celebrate maritime heritage, local traditions and maritime skills through a wide range of entertainment and activities open to all.
16 August: Happyla - La Teste-de-Buch (Pyla-Sur-mer)

The 5th edition of the Be(e) Holiday festival is in the pipeline… and it promises some wonderful moments
Around Cedric Pain, the Mayor, Isabelle Vallé, Deputy Mayor for Culture, Sophie and Valentin de Music en l’Eyre, Mios Music School, and @Monique B. Thomas, patron of this year’s event, were also in attendance, along with Éric Coignat, director of the Andernos Jazz Festival, CS Musique and Action Jazz.
Join us on 21 & 22 August at the Halle François Cazis for two exceptional evenings: seven concerts on the programme, a grand swing ball, and a talk-concert entitled “Ladies Sing Blues” with Monique B. Thomas, a swing dance taster session with MT Danses, food trucks and a community refreshment stand, a permanent exhibition by local artists exploring jazz and music – an event all about sharing, swing and jazz culture!
