Learn about caviar
It is not well known, but the sturgeons of the Arcachon Bay produce one of the best caviars in the world. At To L'Esturgeonnière in Le Teich or at Le Moulin de la Cassadotte in Biganos, meticulous producers reveal their maturing methods (visits by appointment, to book contact the Tourist Office in le Teich or Cœur du Bassin).
The pearl of the month
Michel Berthommier, owner of L'Esturgeonnière, leads "special" tours in partnership with the Teich Tourist Office. The tour concludes with a tasting of caviar and sturgeon flesh, accompanied by a platter prepared by the private chef Natasha from "C’Si Bon," and a wine selection provided by La Cave à vin of le Teich.
